Yves is a French National who grew up in Margaux, France. His work with world-renowned chefs such as Mr. Pierre Troisgros, Mr. Michel Troisgros, Mr. Bernard Loiseau, Mr. Alain Ducasse and Mr. Joel Antunes as well as prominent wineries, private dining clubs and 5-star hotels, has provided him an over-30-year track record in the food and wine industry.

  • Helped facilitate the establishment of the Sommeliers’ Club of Great Britain and served as its Chairman for 5 years.
  • Received the 1992 Best Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator.
  • Named Sommelier of the Year by the Sunday Telegraph in London and Winner of Marques de Caceres Award for food and wine pairings in 1994.
  • Co-Editor of the Chalk Hill Sommelier Guide to Restaurants in USA (2002, 2003 & 2004).
  • Winner of several food and wine competitions over the years.
  • Judge of the DAWA 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 (Decanter Asia Wine Awards).

Although Yves is a sophisticated and polished wine steward, his warmth and down-to-earth approach to business and friends sets him apart.
